Mirror Ink is seeking hard-working and experienced event servers for upcoming events in the Twin Cities and around the nation. The ideal candidate is courteous, professional, and works well with a team. They are responsible for greeting guests, helping them find their seats, and serving food and drinks throughout the event. Our Event Server is also responsible for assisting with planning events, preparing and cleaning up the event, serving guests, and responding to questions, complaints and special requests.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Professionalism, politeness, and efficiency as a server are required, along with presentable grooming and hygiene. Servers must wear a professional, black uniform at each event.
Compensation for this role is $375.00 flat rate per event. Candidates must be willing to travel out of state. All travel expenses will be paid by Mirror Ink.

• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the service area.
• Relay food and beverage orders.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Must have prior experience serving at at least one event.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and stay comfortable on their feet for the entire shift.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Extreme attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Onboarding and training will begin Monday, July 22, 2024.
Upcoming events include several dates in Minneapolis and several locations that will require travel.
